YONER-LIBERIA OVERALL AIMS, AND OBJECTIVES


General Aims & Objectives:

The purpose, aims and objectives for which this organization is formed are as follows:
The sole aim of this organization is to build towards a better nation, To eradicate juvenile delinquencies, by empowering youths to say no to vices, To entertain, educate and inform the youths, To bring out maximum potentials in youths,  Promoting the safely reproductive Health of youths, To improve the standard of living of youths in the poor rural and urban communities,  To make the youths aware of their civic rights and responsibilities, To prepare youths for challenges of the future,  To engage youths judiciously in self-gainful employment activities,  To promote unity amongst youths of the society,  To promote environmental conservation and cultural heritage among young people, To advance the education, training and developmental skills of the  poor, disadvantaged, marginalized, the socially and economically deprived children and young people, To safeguard the rights and well-being of children and young people giving particular attention to the diverse range of issues affecting them, To advocate for basic education and training for children and young people and protect them from violence, exploitation, HIV and AIDS, To improve the physical, emotional and mental well-being of children and young people by encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles and empowering them to fulfill their potential in life no matter their backgrounds.

Legal Status of the Organization


The Youth Network for Reform, INC. (YONER-LIBERIA) is a charitable, voluntary, humanitarian, non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and nonpartisan organization.
YONER-LIBERIA had regularized its legal status with the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R/L, obtained Sectoral Clearance to operate for one year in Liberia from the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare R/L; also completed all requirements with the Paynesville City Corporation through the office of City Mayor consistent with the Local Government’s Regulations for local and national non-governmental youth organization and got Letter of Authorization for Operation under her hand and Certificate of Accreditation from the Ministry of Youth & Sports, R/L and recently applied to the Offices of the Minister of Planning and Economics Affairs, R/L for Certificate of Accreditation in order to carry out activities that corporate body may lawfully do. It has the legal right to sue or to be sued in its own name and generally.
